I hope everyone is getting excited, I know I am! If I had to choose one word to sum up what I expect from Bonanza this year it is GREATNESS. We have a great Management Team and a group of hard working and dedicated students who are all ready and willing to make this year and even bigger success than ever before. We have some really great sponsors who are proof that no matter what state the economy may be in there are generous people in the community that care about youths education in relation to agriculture. Lastly, I expect to have more entries than ever before. Without participants this show couldn’t happen, and we are so thankful for everyone who wants to come out Presidents Day Weekend and see what we are all about!
On a more personal level, I expect to learn a lot about how to run a livestock show and more specifically I would love to learn more about the livestock themselves—particularly sheep! Also, as a part of the Media and Publicity Committee my goal is to make it easily accessible for anyone interested in the show—both near and far—to feel informed about everything that is going on. I am so excited for the greatness that is sure to come!
